Lynda's November Tips

Hello everyone, I am so excited to be brought back for my second term here on the design team, and can't wait to bring you even more fun ideas made out of Creative PaperClay!  With me, you will get a lot of scrapbooking and card making ideas, and this term - some fun crafts for you to try out that are easy for beginners!!

Since I do both scrapbooking and stamping - I have a lot of supplies I can use for either craft, like stamps and templates!  Some things I wondered why I was keeping them; and others, found that I can do so many different things with them thanks to Creative PaperClay!!! So, lets get started with my tip/tips for the month!
  1. You do not need to spend a lot of money on the things you end up creating.  I turned a small liquid creamer container into a snowman (my idea here later this month)!  Learn to recycle what you normally throw away!
  2. Plan out the things you want to make, especially the list of items needed to finish up the project.  Try to keep basic supplies on hand and use up what you have versus spending a lot of money.
  3. Some of the things that can be made are: bases for magnets (one of my past posts), use them in the middle of the flower for cards or  embellishments in scrapbooking, also for scrapbooking - using templates, create a name or saying! Look at the stamps or templates you have to see what you can create that is unique and one of a kind!
  4. Add the tools you need for this craft - to your basic crafting tool kit.  This way you can always have what you need in a quick hurry, instead of each different craft having a "tool kit".   Most of the time you end up using the same set of supplies anyway!
Creative PaperClay is a lot of fun to work with!  Grab some clay - find your supplies, and look back at this blog for tons of great ideas that you can recreate!  I will see you in 2 weeks with my fun snowman idea!  Hope to see you then!
