Lynda's February Tips

I have enjoyed creating projects with Creative PaperClay, especially since becoming a design team member here!  I started out making small scrapbook embellishments, and have since then been able to create larger projects that are "non-scrapbooking" related! Since my time here - I have learned a lot this awesome stuff, and I am glad I get to bring you tips and projects each month from what I have learned!

  1. Don't be afraid to experiment with the clay in order to create unique items!  I use the clay for my scrapbooking embellishments, others use it for entire projects like dolls!
  2. Research a bit on what you want to make, by looking at video's or pictures of finished projects.  This way you have more of a visual reminder about the "finished project" in order to recreate the perfect thing.
  3. Sketch out the project you are wanting to make, giving as much details as you can on how you want it to look.  This way you can see the little details you might not have seen before!
  4. Take the time to look back on this blog - for various ideas, tips and projects you will get from past and current design team members.  Keep a file of the ideas and tips you like for future use!
Creative PaperClay is a lot of fun to work with - in so many different capacities!  I can't wait to get more molds since I love using flowers and that is the only mold I have!  I also can't wait to make a few molds myself...I already have some fun projects going for Easter!!!  Thanks for stopping by today!
