Guest Designer - Fun Sculptures with PaperClay

Hi all, Debbie back here again.

Here is a Garden entrance for you to enjoy....

I used Flowersoft as the grass and Fiskars leaf boarder punch for the vine.
And acrylic paint to paint it all up.

Sculpting this I used a stick to get texture in the red flower stems on this side.

Now every garden near Easter had eggs in them right?
I know that Easter is finished but look at these eggs I made out of Creative Paperclay. These are designed after the Ukraine died eggs called "Pysanky"

Painted up using Acrylic paint.

The next part of the journey into our garden is a tomb....

The stone was rolled back mysteriously a few days later.... hmmmm wonder who was in there?
This is the back view...

Every garden really needs this little fellow though..... But is Alice late?

Here I painted up the White Rabbit in acrylic paint, put flower-soft down as grass and lace at the neck/vest and sleeves. The clock is a rub-on from some random rub-on set I found in my stash.
On the largest toadstool I experimented by using masking fluid and re-inkers from Stampin Up! then decided to add glitter over the top.

Here are my secrets.... ***shh don't tell anyone!****

I love my cardstock for holding up my thin creations before they dry.....

I also texture by poking and then pulling up in a very quick motion randomly for grass.

Things that are slightly top heavy are good with card-stock below them until dry too. As long as you have a good thick trunk to hold the item up. ;)

As you see Creative paper clay is heaps of fun to play with. You can also use anything with it - I think - so far.....

I've used...
Flower-soft
Acrylic paint
Rub-ons
Re-inkers
Glitter glue
Glued on lace

I think you could use anything on the surface that you could on paper..... give it a go! I am!

Can't wait to see what the design team come up with. What about you?
All the best and happy crafting!
