Kitty in the Window Canvas Featuring Creative Paperclay®

Hi Friends:  Do you love the image of a kitty in the window?  Here's a video tutorial that uses  Creative Paperclay® to make a cute kitten and window frame canvas.  I used a favorite ceramic kitten with Mold-N-Pour to make the kitten mold.  I used a Prima IOD mould and the Wilton Lace mold for the window frame, and a favorite butterfly mold for the butterflies.  I also used some favorite stencils, paints, and waxes to finish my canvas.  Here are some photos of the project - you can watch the video tutorial, below, for full instructions to create the canvas.

Parisian Dream Cameo Card Featuring Delight™ Compound

Hi Friends:  I love to use Delight™ air dry modeling compound on my mixed media cards because the items that I make are so lightweight and easy to add to the cards.  You can use Delight™ with fondant molds to make some really beautiful embellishments.  For this project, I used some molds to create a Parisian-based card with a lovely cameo focal point.  I saw these Eiffel Tower inspired favor boxes on clearance in one of the big box stores and I just knew they would be great on cards.  And I knew that I had the ideal cameo and frame molds on hand to create the focal point to go with it.

Take Time To Dream Card featuring Delight™ Modeling Compound

Hi Friends:  Have you ever wondered what to use to add gorgeous, lightweight embellishments to your cards?  Delight™ air dry modeling compound is very lightweight and easy to mold and is perfect for mixed media cards because it doesn't add much weight.  In this project, I've used Delight™ in some Prima IOD Moulds to create some beautiful faux metal accents on my card - and the card is much lighter than using metal or resin products.

Daydreaming Tag Featuring Creative Paperclay®

Hi Friends:  When using molds with your Creative Paperclay®, do you ever accidentally break pieces off the embellishment when removing it from the mold?  It happens to me more than I like, but I NEVER throw those pieces away.  Even if they're too intricate or broken to glue back together, the pieces can always be used in creative ways on your projects.

Here are some broken pieces from an IOD mould - it's a mess:

I used these pieces to create a mixed media tag that shows one way to use them to create a beautiful project and no one would ever know that the pieces weren't meant to go that way.
