Creative Paperclay® Holiday Napkin Ring

Supplies

Creative Paperclay®
Glossy white paint
Gold paint
Glittered snowflakes
Napkin
Paper towel cardboard tube
Plastic wrap
Rolling pin
Knife
Paint brush
Hot glue gun

Step 1:     Get an empty cardboard tube from a paper towel roll even from a toilet paper roll. I cut down the center and over lapped the edges to make the ring a little smaller. Cover with the plastic wrap so the clay won't stick to the paper.

Step 2:    Roll out the clay to about a 1/4 inch and cut a strip the width you want your napkin rings to be. Make sure the strip is long enough to go around the tube so you can attach the ends.
Attach the ends and smooth the ring.

Let completely dry.

Step 3:   After it's dry remove from the cardboard, make sure the inside is dry too.
Paint with glossy paint both on the inside, edges and outside. Let dry.

Step 4:   Paint 3 snowflake designs with the gold paint around the back of the ring. I also painted the edges of the ring with gold. Hot glue one glitter snowflake on the top.

The napkin ring is finished.

Thank you for checking out this tutorial and HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!
