Jess B's - SHE Silhouette

Hello Everyone,

Sharing with you another fun way to use Delight®
I was listening to Maxwell - A Woman's Work
It made me think about all the things we do day in and day out
It's never ending and we keep pressing!

Dedicate to all the Women of world

I mixed the Delight® with black acrylic paint
I had a unfinished canvas board that I took out of my stash
found the silhouette on line
I rolled out the Delight® and did some free hand carving using the silhouette as my guide
I pressed the floral flourish textured tread to give more texture
Added a butterfly made with with Delight®

INGREDIENTS
Black acrylic paint
Rangers Melt Art Texture Tread - Floral Flourish
Jacquard - Lumiere - Peal Blue
Bling
.

A Woman's Worth

A woman's beauty is not only
In the glow of her skin
But the depth of her eyes
And the warmth of her heart

A woman's strength is not only
In the bow of her back
But the magnitude of her tears
And the softness of her words

A woman's wisdom is not only
In the value of her words
But the knowledge of when to hold them
And the journey she takes to learn them

A woman's courage is not only
In her determination to fight
But her willingness to walk away
And confidence to say no

A woman's grace is not only
In the way she dances through her day
But in the love notes she leaves
And the wonderful meals she prepares

A woman's love is not only
In the kisses she gives
But in the sacrifices she makes
And the moments given to you alone

A woman's worth is not only
In the things she does
But who she truly is
And who she helps you become

Jess B's - Dreamz on Plywood

Hello Everyone
This week has been very hot in the Midwest
Drink lots of fluids and be careful out there

I received a new shipment of
CreativePaperclay®
ripped open three packages and went to town

I tried to record my process and once again failed.
I made a quick video of my finished work.
I wasn't able to capture the good picture quality as I wanted to.

 Sanded plywood

Gessoed plywood started rolling out the Creative Paperclay®

I used Tim Holtz Texture Fade Embossing folder Clock and created folds n layers
and baked in oven

Used oval and flower cookie cutters
Used Rangers - MeltArt - Textured Treads Floral Flourish

The Crafters Workshop - Branches Reversed TCW251 and used tinted textured paste
I saturate several colors of inks from

Dylusion, Lindsy's Stamp Gang, Tsukineko Walnut Ink, Tim Holtz Adiorndack Color Wash
Also used Stampendous Frantage Embossing Glitters
The those little encrusted pieces of frantage gives it that pop
I hope this gives you a better understanding of my process

thanks for stopping by
see you soon

Jess B's - Spring Bunny is coming!

Hello Everyone

Here is a fun little Easter wall decor
I made with DelightTM

making beautiful colors of spring
anticipating Easter eggs, baskets, and oodles of candy

with latex gloves, I cut DelightTM into 5 sections
placed a dollop of paint and mixed together

rolled out the DelightTMand used mini cookie cutters
they dry instantly with a soft foamy texture
I applied to a wooden petal shaped wall hanging
from the dollar store

I also used Creative Paperclay®
for the bunny to give it more dimension

The girls asked me to hang this on their bedroom
door. It made them smile!

This is a great easter basket stuffer
You have to try DelightTM
it's a wonderful product and the children can also
have fun making their own craft.

WAIT!!!
One package has mysteriously disappeared...
I wonder who took it?

Happy Easter

Jess B's - Flowers are Blooming

Hello Everyone
I wanted to bring some vibrant colors
to cheer up spirits
as we are still in the winter season

Nana is doing better
sitting up, walking, and eating!
Just all around good :o)

I have been fascinated by
mixed media and all the textures that
can bring decor to life
I feel a shift in my creativity
I used Creative Paperclay®, heart cookie cutters, flourish clear stamp, and a candy bowl
to create the flower shap.  Bake according to the instructions.
I a long canvas that I pulled out bring acrylic paints and
used an old hotel card to combine the paints

Adirondack Color Wash,
Lindy's Stamp Gang Sprays - Flat Fabios
 Dylusion Sprays

Tattered Angel Notes from Garden with StazOn Olive Green Ink

Added sequins to the center of the flowers

I had some foam stamps and decided to write the words in Spanish

IMAGINAR - IMAGINE
CREER - BELIEVE
SER - BE

Jess B's - Under the Sea

Hello Everyone,

Can you tell I want to be somewhere warm
Heck I always want to be somewhere warmer than the
mid west
I always tell my mom that she had me in the
wrong month (November) and in the wrong country
I am not a fan of cold weather
but this is where we are

The sea is full of rich
intense bright colors
that we can only try to mimic
INSPIRATION

UNDER THE SEA

Wooden heart
I painted gesso on the entire heart for color spraying later
wanted wall piece to be 3-dimension
I rolled balls of Creative Paperclay®, flattened and curved each piece
with finger to look like a sea coral bed
not the best rendition but it works
Baked Creative Paperclay® and sprayed with
Adirondack - Color Wash - Stream
Lindy's Stamp Gang - Flat Fabio - Ocean Breeze Blue & Aloha Avocado
Tattered Angels - Iridescent Gold
I streamed hot glue on the edge or heart
and sprayed Steam and Iridescent Gold
Pounced gold pigment gold to make the textured hot glue pop
