Create Alice in Wonderland in a whole new way!

Supplies Needed for this Project:

Something to roll your clay out with
Something to cut your clay with
Powder or cornstarch
Makeup brush to dust powder or cornstarch
Altoid Box (empty)
Napkin
Scissors
Brushes and water to rinse them in
Washi Tape in Purple, Flowered, plain and banner
Stickers- Alice in Wonderland
Glue

These are the basic tools needed for this project.

This Mod Podge and the Paints and Glitter from Plaid really made the project pretty.

I started by rolling out the Creative Paperclay to about a 1/4 in. thick and then laying the top and then the bottom of the Altoid box down and cutting around it in the clay. I then glued the wet pieces onto the box and let it dry. After it had dried I put two coats of Aqua Flash/Color Shift Paint on the clay, drying it between coats. Then it's time to paint the Plaid - Extreme Glitter in Hologram onto the box. (2 coats, drying between each coat). Whenever the paints are all dry, take your washi tapes of choice and put the two different widths of washi tape around the Altoid tin on the outside.

Paint your flower that has been molded into one of your molds ( see the post that I did on using molds for your clay) with the Plaid- Red Flash Color Shift Paint two coats. Make sure that the paint is dry between each coat. Then put two coats (and drying between coats) of the Plaid Extreme Glitter- Holographic paint on the flower. Glue it onto the front of the box.

Use the Mod Podge and decoupage the striped napkin to the inside of the box, both in the lid and the bottom. Pick and choose between your "Alice in Wonderland" stickons and apply them to the front and also to the inside of the box.
Didn't this box turn out cute? Go on over to www.creativepaperclay.com and check out all of the wonderful clays etc that they have for sale. While you're at it check out www.plaidonline.com to see all of the wonderful products that they carry also. Please leave a comment below as I read them.
