Creative Paperclay® decorated Bird House!

With summer here there will be a lot of entertaining out side on the deck or patio.  Make this cute bird house as a a part of a center piece or one for each table!
Close ups of the bird house!

First, roll out the Creative Paperclay® thin and cut leaves and flowers. Set aside to dry at least 24 hours or slow dry in the oven at a very low tempreture.
After they are dry, prepare them for painting. Sand each piece to remove unwanted edges.
Paint the Creative Paperclay® pieces with Sakura Crystal Lacquer and Terri Sproul Mixers...

Large leaves - Terri Sproul Mixers Pearl Green
Tiny flowers - Terri Sproul Mixers Citrine Pearl
Large flowers - Terri Sproul Mixers Rose pearl
Small leaves - Terri Sproul Mixers Tanizanite Pearl mixed with Shimmer Citrine! Let dry.

Paint the birds with Terri Sproul Mixers Aquamarine Pearl and dry.
Cover unpainted wooden bird house with old sheet music.

Layer the large leaves on the top of the bird house to create a roof, adhere with Sakura Crystal Lacquer
Finally add the Creative Paperclay® flowers, small leaves and birds, Sakura Crystal Lacquer.

One, two or three of these would make a cute table center piece for an outdoor summer dinner.
Have fun this summer creating with Creative Paperclay®.
